Eric and Amanda got married on Aug 6th. Great couple and great day for a wedding. They were married in a cute little church in Esquimalt then had their reception at the Colwood golf course.

Sean and Nadines wedding

July 12, 2011

Sean and Nadine were married on Saturday at St.Ann’s Academy here in Victoria. I had never photographed a wedding there but it is a great location. Beautiful area behind the building for the ceremony with a cobble stone path. The weather held out and it turned out to be a nice warm day. I had my second shooter Jon Howe help me out. He photographed the guys getting ready and did some of the formal shot’s for me as well. After the ceremony we hopped onto the kabuki cabs over to the Grand Pacific Hotel for brunch and speeches. I had a great time photographing Sean and Nadine’s wedding for them. Congratulations to the newlyweds.

Laura and Warren’s Wedding

October 24, 2010

Here are some images I shot for Laura and Warren’s wedding this summer. I was Lara’s assistant for this shoot.   It was a fun wedding that took place at Saxe Point overlooking the ocean, with the Olympic Mountains as a backdrop. This was a super fun wedding to shoot and they had the most interesting wedding cake I’ve seen so far: A SUPER MARIO CAKE!

My good friend Laura got married in Ontario at the Scarborough Bluffs and asked if I would like to photograph her wedding.   It was a beautiful summer’s day and not too hot and humid.  Here are some of the photos of the day.  My brother Eric was my second shooter and a few of the images were his.

The dress and shoes

It was a Scottish wedding so we can’t forget the piper.  These photos were taken by Eric.

Kyle and Kara’s Wedding

August 1, 2010

My cousin asked me if I would photograph her wedding and I didn’t hesitate to do it.  She lives in Powell River so it was a nice little road trip up there from Victoria. Kara and her husband Kyle got married on the beach with blue skies and a mountains as a backdrop – a perfect location.

I was asked last Saturday by my photographer friend, Lara to help second shoot Pam and Stephen’s Elopement at the Fairmont Empress hotel in Victoria. I  photographed the guys getting ready. Stephen and Pam were a lot of fun and it was great to help photograph their wedding. Congratulations to Stephen and Pam.

I was called the night before to help out with Jay and Nicole’s wedding. I was heading there anyways but they needed someone to photograph the Groom getting ready so I was all ready to help them out. It was a beautiful sunny day in August so we had a few locations set out. We started at Nicole’s Mom’s place where the guys got dressed. We then headed down to the beach at Parksville then off to one more beach that I can not remember the name of. So here are a few photos from there wedding.

July 11th wedding

July 14, 2009

Last weekend which was July 11th I assisted/ second shot a wedding with my good Friend Sam. The couple were Geoff and Sarah. It went well. The location was the Sidney pier where they got ready. While Sam was photographing the girls getting ready it was my mission to photograph the men betting ready. We started in their hotel room then went down to the pier to snap off some shot’s until the girls were ready. After we were done at that location we went out to moseys point, a rocky beach that over looked the ocean with a log swing. After there we went up to State and Wine winery were the wedding took place as well as the reception. For more photos check out my website. http:www.jonfaulknor.com
