I went up to Nanaimo  last week to photograph Mark with his dog Dash. You may recognize Mark from the skiing shot’s from this winter. We took Dash to the beach and he was having a blast finding every stick he could fit into his mouth and dragging it around. I think Mark said it was his first time to the beach with Dash. Lot’s of fun.

This winter I’ll be hitting up the ski slopes with camera in hand after a long hiatus from photographing skiing.  I will be working with Mark Mawson, A professional skier sponsored by Salomon sports. He has just received his gear so we will be heading out in the next few weeks to do some urban ski shots. But for now some lifestyle shot’s taken two weeks ago in Naniamo.

I went out with Vickie the other day and went down to MCcaully point for a portrait session. It is suck a great place. Right by the ocean plus there are old gunner stations from when the army trained for the war. Enjoy.

So it’s been a while since I have posted due to being in Ontario for the past 2 1/2 weeks. I have been training for a new job as a school portrait photographer. Don’t think that, that is all I will be doing. I will be fitting in portrait sessions still so don’t fret.

The latest shot’s I have for you to see are from an actress in Victoria who is moving to Toronto in September. So here are the shot’s from Katie.

My good friend and his Girlfriend Lauren were on the Island 2 weekends ago visiting some of there friends up in nanaimo so I went up to join them. It was saturday evening and there was this amazing sunset over departure bay. It was a 2 min walk down to the beach where we did a portrait session of Chris and his lady. Good times were had by all. Later that evening there was a lighting storm. I will post those shot’s as well in another post. As well I took some shot’s of there friend Karen.

Local Victoria Actor Shaan came to me looking for head-shots. I had photographed him about two months ago for promotional photos for the play that he is in this summer during Victoria’s Fringe Festival. A popular Event for theatre goers. I have photographed a few show’s from last years event and it is always a good time.
