I was contacted by Jack two weeks ago as he was in need of head shot’s for an upcoming show that he was casted for at the Phoenix theatre at the University of Victoria. I took him down to one of my favourite places to shoot headshot’s in Bastion Square. Student’s get a discounted rate to help them out.

Valentines day is fast approaching. Now is a great time to get beautiful photos of you self done for a loved one. I was on my way up to Powell River for thanksgiving and had to wait for the ferry for a few hours. So to kill some time I did a portrait session for Shandy. We headed down to the air force beach in Comox where the beach is white sand, something you would find in a tropical setting. We hit it right and got the sunset and had a great shoot.

So while I was in Ontario this summer I had the chance to photograph a few things while traveling around. I didn’t get out as much as I would have liked to but it happens. So here are a few shots from Ontario.

Well, I have had some slides sitting around for some time. Images that I have taken this summer that I have neglected scanning, but this weekend I finally got to it and scanned them. These two images are from Witty’s Lagoon in Metchosen British Columbia.
This is one of my favorite places to go as it is half and hour from Victoria and there are no city light’s to be seen. Great for star trails as well.

While back in Ontario for 2 1/2 weeks I was able to get one shoot in as I was so busy seeing friends and family. I was able to shoot Nicole and her friend Ashley in this abandoned cabin across from my parent’s place. Been wanting to shoot here for years.

This Sunday I went up to Goldstream park to take Band photos for Angeis Fang. They are two local musicians here in Victoria. It was a great shoot. They loved the location so much they want o go back with a generator and have a show up there.

Lately I have been submitting to a lot of magazines to see if I can get published. I have submitted to 3 different contest to photolife magazine,plus entering a few other contest as I find them.
