It’s taken me a while to post this set of images. I second shot this wedding for Sean Flanigan, a photographer from Tacoma, Washington. It was a beautiful warm sunny day for Katrina and Chris to get married at the Starling Lane winery . I had driven past this winey a number of times and was excited to help photograph the wedding there. What a amazing setting. All in all a great day.

I photographed Dan and Laura a few weeks ago, and am finally getting the time to post the photographs. I photographed them on the 9th floor balcony in the building they live in. Great spot as it over looks the inner harbour of Victoria with amazing views. I had a really fun time photographing the two of them. Really fun couple.

Rob and Christine are good friends of mine. I’ve known them for over ten years. They asked me to photograph their wedding in Baddeck,on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. I had never been out east and was really excited to photograph them in. They were married at the Inveray resort on a beautiful sunny day. We drove an hour north to a small town called Mabou where her Grandmother lives and did some formal photos there as well. While driving around we cam across these two old school houses that I had to stop and get photos of Rob and Christine with. Turns out Christine’s grandfather used to teach in one of the school houses.

Eric and Amanda got married on Aug 6th. Great couple and great day for a wedding. They were married in a cute little church in Esquimalt then had their reception at the Colwood golf course.

Thanks to my second shooter for helping me out and getting a few images. The next few images are from her.

And now for the rest of the day.

Time for the first dance.

Sean and Nadine were married on Saturday at St.Ann’s Academy here in Victoria. I had never photographed a wedding there but it is a great location. Beautiful area behind the building for the ceremony with a cobble stone path. The weather held out and it turned out to be a nice warm day. I had my second shooter Jon Howe help me out. He photographed the guys getting ready and did some of the formal shot’s for me as well. After the ceremony we hopped onto the kabuki cabs over to the Grand Pacific Hotel for brunch and speeches. I had a great time photographing Sean and Nadine’s wedding for them. Congratulations to the newlyweds.

Jessica contacted me about doing some portraits as she has been training at a gym for the past 4 months. I took her down to Macaulay point, one of my favourite places to go. It over looks the Juan De Fuca straight with the Olympic mountains in the background. It was her first time there and was really happy with the location I choose.
